Toasted Rye Bread

This toasted rye bread is fast to prepare and can be customized easily. I especially like the fact that rye bread is more filling than a normal slice of toast and is therefore a great snack. I have used Emmentaler cheese in the recipe, but you can swap it with any cheese of your choice. -Josefine

  • 2 Slices Rye Bread
  • Butter
  • 3 Slices Cooked Ham
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 4 Slices Cheese
  • Pizza Spice (Salt, Pepper)
  1. Spread a thin layer of butter onto your bread slices and cover with cooked ham. Cut the tomatoes into slices and place them on top. Season well with salt and pepper.
  2. Now place the cheese on top of the tomatoes and season with pizza spice as desired. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes at 180°C.
  3. Done!
